1. Choose the size

Width for the room

Add the room’s length and width in feet. The total is a good starting chandelier width in inches.

Width over a dining table

Choose a chandelier about 1/2 to 2/3 the width of your table, and at least 12 in narrower than the table. For a round table, use its diameter.

Two-story foyer

Keep at least 7 ft below the chandelier. Seen from the upstairs landing, it should sit around eye level or a little lower. If you can, leave about 4 ft between the chandelier and the walls.

2. Check the hanging height

Drop means the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the chandelier, including its chain or rod.

Where people walk underneath, keep at least 7 ft (84 in) from the floor to the lowest point.

Over a table or island

Over a 30 in dining table, aim for 30–36 in between the tabletop and the lowest point with an 8 ft ceiling, and add about 3 in for each extra foot of ceiling. Over a 36 in counter, aim for 30–36 in.

Love the styling and color of the creamy glass. This thing can get REALLY bright depending on the bulb lumens.

Ok. I never leave reviews for products but I really do love this light. Got the 5 bulb one and it was perfect. Very cute. Directions got a bit vague at the end, but we figured it out and it was worth it!

Almost perfect, needs a shorter threaded tube option.

This is a very elegant lamp. Its assembly might be a little tricky for most people, but once assembled, it looks very pleasing to the eye. It's fine for a small model hanging above a dining table, but it feels a bit out of place in a living room. I'm 1.83 meters tall. I've searched everywhere for a short threaded tube of the same size, but haven't been able to find one. Maybe one day I'll spend more money to buy a tube, cut it shorter, and tap the threads myself with a threading tool, but honestly, this lamp would be perfect if it were just a few inches shorter.

Great dining area light for small space

Fairly easy to install---just takes a few minutes to fill in the blanks of instructions that are not fully noted, but easy to connect once the light is put together. Love it. Only issue is it is a bit dim but nothing that a new lightbulb cannot fix.

Great customer service

The description is very accurate. I needed an extension for the drop and the company was so helpful with that. It was really easy, and the extension rod came with the correct amount of additional wire so no guessing at the store. This was a huge plus!
