This is nice but, I am a little disappointed with this because going off the image of the lamp, it appears as though the light is coming through the shade and that is very deceptive. This is a metal shade which needless to say, we're not buying bulbs that can shine through metal! Aside from that, this is very well balanced and very stable. I super appreciate the floor switch. I hate having to fumble for some small buttons that seems to always be on the wrong side. This lamp looks great and will work wonders in a living room or next to a bed. I do not think this would be good in an business as the floor switch will get severely mistreated in a commercial setting. I love the way this looks and how stable the central pole feels. I get the distinct impression this will be straight as an arrow for a very long time to come.

I like this lamp and use it all the time. The white metal shade has a clean, modern look and gives off a soft, cozy glow. It’s tall but not bulky, and the footswitch makes it super convenient to turn on and off. Great quality and easy to assemble.

Good lighting

I have this lamp in my teenage son’s room. We have an older home that has limited ceiling light. This lamp looks great in his room and adds a good amount of light.

Looks great, Easy to put together.

This pole light looks great in the room. I found it easy to put together - only a few minutes. It has a solid base and does not lean (you have to make sure you tighten the poles when you screw them together). The bulbs that came with them are also very decorative. For me, they were not bright enough. They were 12 watt LED soft yellow. I have no overhead light in my room, so I needed more. The seller responded quickly to let me know what the max wattage was that I could use. I replaced the bulb with a 30-watt one, and it works great.

Great lightring at a reasonable price

This lamps so easily and stylistically amp up a room. I was blown away by how unobtrusive they are. It has moderate brightness, is durable, and offers excellent value for money.
