How we check size & hanging height
Width: aim around ½–⅔ of the furniture width. If fewer than two in-range models clear the height, we also show the adjacent smaller or larger size, marked Below guide or Above guide. Unmarked models sit within the width guide.
Hanging gap: measured from the furniture surface to the lamp bottom. Auto is a starting point: 30 in at an 8 ft ceiling, adding 3 in per extra foot. Choose a different gap to suit your view and use of the table; this preset is not an installation requirement.
Height: available space = ceiling height − furniture height − selected gap. The minimum installed drop for each shortlisted model fits within this space; confirm the final position with your installer.
Minimum installed drop includes the 1 in canopy + 10 cm exposed cord + shade. The inch minimums below are rounded up to 0.1 in. Between presets, choose the next taller furniture height and the next lower ceiling height for a conservative check. Use the nearest furniture width for the approximate proportion guide. These checks assume a level ceiling.

The Akari D Series has a full, rounded shade of pale washi paper, supported from within by a bamboo frame. When lit, the paper diffuses the bulb's light for a soft glow.

- Connects to ceiling wiring and a standard wall on/off switch. Switch not included.
- 118" adjustable cord. Your installer sets the drop.
- Includes mounting hardware and one non-dimmable 3000K E26 bulb.

Plug-in
- Powers the pendant from a wall outlet.
- Add the plug-in cord to the same order. Choose Black or White and US Plug.
- 5 m / approx. 196" cord, inline on/off switch and three mounting hooks.
- The cord arrives unattached. Assembly and proper support are required; use a qualified electrician for wiring.
For remote dimming, the optional bulb-and-remote set replaces the standard bulb. Use its remote, not a wall dimmer. Recommended for 30D–75D; not recommended for 80D, 100D or 120D. For those sizes, choose a higher-output compatible dimmable E26 bulb and matching controls, within the 40W actual-wattage limit.
Before ordering a plug-in cord
Hardwired installation parts are not included with plug-in orders unless requested. Leave a checkout note if you need them. Ordering several pendants? Tell us which ones need a cord.
After your fixture ships, contact us before adding a cord; separate shipping fees may apply. The cord is an add-on and is not sold on its own.
Use suitable anchors and surfaces within their rated load. The electrical connection needs proper strain relief and must not carry the pendant's weight. Keep the cord out of foot traffic; never run it through walls or ceilings. Indoor dry locations only.
Check the hanging height
For standard hardwired installation, the shortest drop is the shade height plus a 1" canopy and 10 cm / approx. 3.9" exposed cord. Shade height alone is not the total installed drop. See Compare sizes for each model's minimum drop.
For a sloped ceiling or a longer cord, contact us before ordering to check the mounting arrangement and length. The standard hardwired drop calculation does not cover plug-in routing or sloped ceilings.

What’s Included
Each add-on includes one compatible dimmable bulb and one remote control, shipped in the same package as your light. If your fixture normally comes with a standard non-dimmable bulb, we’ll send the dimmable one instead—the standard bulb won’t be included.

Compatibility
Recommended for compatible single-bulb fixtures, especially those 30″ or smaller. Larger fixtures may need more light. Not suitable for fixtures with built-in LEDs. For chandeliers or multi-bulb lights, please check with us first.

For compatible single-bulb pendants only. Not for chandeliers or multi-light fixtures. For integrated-LED or grounded models, please check with us first.

47″ / 1.2 m from plug to switch; 145″ / 3.7 m from switch to light (approx.).
The switch is on/off only. A compatible dimmable bulb can still be controlled by its remote while the switch is on.

Sold only with a compatible pendant. Cord-only orders may be adjusted or canceled. Buying several pendants? Tell us which ones need a cord.

Certification: SPT-2 power cord certified to UL 62 (File No. E494674). Certification covers the cord only, not the complete plug-in assembly or pendant.
