FAQs

Yes, the sconce has a 5.1" (13 cm) overall diameter and mounting holes spaced 3.54" (90 mm) center-to-center, which fits standard U.S. 3.5" and 4" round or octagonal electrical boxes. If your wall has an oversized remodel box or uneven drywall cutout larger than 4.7", please check your box dimensions before installation or email a photo to support@vinlighting.com for a quick fit check.

Standard 3000K and 6000K (On/Off) models have a built-in driver inside the fixture base. The TRIAC Dimmable (3000K) model includes a small external dimmable LED driver that connects between your house wiring and the fixture—it is compact enough to tuck neatly inside a standard-depth U.S. junction box or wall cavity. We have tested it for smooth, flicker-free dimming with the Lutron® Diva DVCL-153P dimmer switch.

It is designed as an ambient and accent light—perfect for creating a warm, glare-free glow beside a bed, along a hallway, up a staircase, or in an entryway. It is not intended to be the sole primary light source for a large room.

Start with the center of the sconce about 48 to 60 inches above the floor. Adjust for your mattress height and seated position so the light is comfortable to use.

★★★★★

I’ve had this lamp for over six months now, and it’s still as good as new. The materials feel premium, and there’s no wobbling or cheap parts. I’ve bought other lamps in the past that didn’t last this long. Definitely worth every penny for something built this well.

I ordered the lamp in September, and it was on sale for a fraction of what I’ve seen at other stores. I’ve been looking for a similar design, but this one was easily $150 cheaper without sacrificing quality. Amazing value for such a stylish product.

I live in Portland, and this lamp blends perfectly with my modern-industrial apartment. The matte finish and clean lines add such a polished look to my space. It’s both functional and a statement piece—my friends can’t stop asking where I got it!

I had a small issue with the instructions, but customer service was so helpful. They responded quickly, answered all my questions, and even sent me a video tutorial. Really felt like they cared. I’ll shop here again for sure.

I was dreading putting this together, but it turned out to be super easy. The instructions were clear, and I had it set up in less than 20 minutes without needing extra tools. Love when a product doesn’t give me a headache!
