Table width means the shorter side, or the diameter of a round table. Hanging gap means tabletop to shade bottom. These checks use the standard hardwired setup.

For a generous tableConsider this for a 60–72 in wide table or a large round table. Check the width carefully: it adds another 9.8 in beyond the 70EN.

Minimum drops are estimates from ceiling to shade bottom: shade height + a 1 in canopy + at least 10 cm of exposed cord. Additional fittings may increase the drop. The standard 118 in cord is adjustable during installation.

For a bedroom or living room with people walking below, check floor clearance separately. With an 8 ft ceiling, none of these sizes leaves 7 ft below the shade at the estimated minimum drop.
Between sizes? Here’s what changes.
The 70EN is 7.9 in wider than the 50EN; the 95EN adds another 9.8 in. At a 40 in table width, compare 50EN for a quieter look with 70EN for more presence. At 54 in, compare 70EN and 95EN the same way.
All three sizes use one E26 bulb. Choose the shade diameter for proportion, then consider the bulb and other lights in the room when planning brightness.
How the comparison works
Width: the guide uses roughly one-half to two-thirds of the table’s shorter side or diameter. It is a visual starting point, so all three shades stay visible for comparison.
Hanging gap: Auto starts at 30 in for ceilings up to 8 ft and adds 3 in per additional foot. Adjust it for your sightlines and how you use the table.
Hanging space: ceiling height − table height − hanging gap. We compare that space with each estimated minimum hardwired drop. A blocked room view means the selected gap leaves too little room; Table comparison still shows the shade against the selected table; it does not show the ceiling or confirm installation clearance.
Between presets, use the next taller table height and next lower ceiling height for the drop check, then choose a gap manually. Use the nearest width for a rough visual comparison. Sloped ceilings and plug-in layouts need a separate mounting check.

Pairs well with
The Washi Paper EN Series pairs a broad, flattened shade with light beige washi paper. Bamboo ribs support the shade from the inside, with their horizontal lines visible through the paper.
Hang it over a dining table to make the wide outline a focal point, or use it in a living area where you want diffused overhead light. Three sizes let you choose how much presence it has in the room; white wire blends with a white ceiling, while black wire makes the hanging line more visible.

Standard · hardwired
Connects to a ceiling electrical supply. The 118" cord is adjustable during installation; ask before ordering if you need a longer cord or a custom canopy.
All three sizes for U.S. orders use one E26 socket and include one 20W, 3000K warm white, non-dimmable bulb. Use a standard on/off wall switch, sold separately.
Optional · plug-in cord
Sold separately for all three sizes. The 16.4 ft (5 m) cord has an inline on/off switch and comes with three mounting hooks. Choose US Plug and Black or White under Pairs well with.
The cord arrives unattached; assembly is required. Hardwired installation parts are not included with plug-in orders unless requested.
Assembly and ordering
Have a qualified installer connect the cord and plan the support. Use suitable anchors and surfaces within the hooks' rated load, with proper strain relief. The electrical connection must not carry the pendant's weight. Keep the cord out of foot traffic; do not run it through walls or ceilings.

Dimming a hardwired setup
The included bulb must be replaced for dimming. Our remote-control bulb add-on is recommended for 50EN and 70EN. For 95EN dimming, choose a compatible E26 bulb with more light output than our remote-control bulb. Use controls matched to your chosen bulb.
Wall dimming · buy separately
Use a compatible dimmable E26 bulb and a matching wall dimmer. Check the bulb and dimmer together for U.S. 120V use; both are sold separately.
Remote-control bulb · 50EN / 70EN
The optional add-on replaces the standard bulb; the original bulb is not also included. Use the supplied remote for brightness and color temperature. Do not use this bulb with a wall dimmer, and keep power on for remote operation.

Hanging height and ceiling fit
Estimated minimum hardwired ceiling-to-bottom drop: 50EN 14.8" · 70EN 17.9" · 95EN 20.7". Estimates use the shade, 1" canopy and at least 10 cm of exposed cord; additional fittings may increase the drop.
Above a table or counter, start with 30–36" from the surface to the shade bottom. An 8 ft ceiling does not leave 7 ft of walking clearance with any of these sizes.
Sloped or vaulted ceilings are supported; have your installer check the mounting, final drop and sightlines.
For U.S. 120V use in indoor dry locations. Use a qualified installer and confirm ceiling support and cable routing.

What’s Included
Each add-on includes one compatible dimmable bulb and one remote control, shipped in the same package as your light. If your fixture normally comes with a standard non-dimmable bulb, we’ll send the dimmable one instead—the standard bulb won’t be included.

Recommended for compatible single-bulb fixtures, especially those 30″ or smaller. Larger fixtures may need more light. Not suitable for fixtures with built-in LEDs. For chandeliers or multi-bulb lights, please check with us first.

The switch is on/off only. A compatible dimmable bulb can still be controlled by its remote while the switch is on.

Hardwired Parts & Changes
Hardwired installation parts aren’t included with plug-in orders unless requested. Add a checkout note or contact us before ordering. If your light has shipped, ask us before adding a cord; extra shipping fees may apply.
Installation & Safety
Assembly required. Connect the cord correctly before use. If you’re not qualified to do the wiring, ask a licensed electrician. Use the hooks only with suitable anchors and surfaces, within their rated load. The connection needs proper strain relief and must not support the pendant’s weight.
For indoor use only. Keep the cord away from foot traffic and damage. Never run it through walls or ceilings.
Certification: SPT-2 power cord certified to UL 62 (File No. E494674). Certification covers the cord only, not the complete plug-in assembly or pendant.
