Washi Paper EN Series Pendant Light - Installation options
Standard · hardwired
Connects to a ceiling electrical supply. The 118" cord is adjustable during installation; ask before ordering if you need a longer cord or a custom canopy.
All three sizes for U.S. orders use one E26 socket and include one 20W, 3000K warm white, non-dimmable bulb. Use a standard on/off wall switch, sold separately.
Optional · plug-in cord
Sold separately for all three sizes. The 16.4 ft (5 m) cord has an inline on/off switch and comes with three mounting hooks. Choose US Plug and Black or White under Pairs well with.
The cord arrives unattached; assembly is required. Hardwired installation parts are not included with plug-in orders unless requested.
Assembly and ordering
Have a qualified installer connect the cord and plan the support. Use suitable anchors and surfaces within the hooks' rated load, with proper strain relief. The electrical connection must not carry the pendant's weight. Keep the cord out of foot traffic; do not run it through walls or ceilings.
Order the cord with the pendant. For multiple pendants, hardware requests or an order already shipped, follow PLUG-IN CORD ADD-ON for the full ordering conditions.
Dimming a hardwired setup
The included bulb must be replaced for dimming. Our remote-control bulb add-on is recommended for 50EN and 70EN. For 95EN dimming, choose a compatible E26 bulb with more light output than our remote-control bulb. Use controls matched to your chosen bulb.
Wall dimming · buy separately
Use a compatible dimmable E26 bulb and a matching wall dimmer. Check the bulb and dimmer together for U.S. 120V use; both are sold separately.
Remote-control bulb · 50EN / 70EN
The optional add-on replaces the standard bulb; the original bulb is not also included. Use the supplied remote for brightness and color temperature. Do not use this bulb with a wall dimmer, and keep power on for remote operation.

Hanging height and ceiling fit
Estimated minimum hardwired ceiling-to-bottom drop: 50EN 14.8" · 70EN 17.9" · 95EN 20.7". Estimates use the shade, 1" canopy and at least 10 cm of exposed cord; additional fittings may increase the drop.
Above a table or counter, start with 30–36" from the surface to the shade bottom. An 8 ft ceiling does not leave 7 ft of walking clearance with any of these sizes.
Sloped or vaulted ceilings are supported; have your installer check the mounting, final drop and sightlines.
For U.S. 120V use in indoor dry locations. Use a qualified installer and confirm ceiling support and cable routing.
