Prefer a plug-in pendant?

Hang a compatible pendant without ceiling wiring. This cord has a built-in bulb socket and an inline switch, so the light runs from any wall outlet.

How to add it

  1. Add your pendant light to your cart.

  2. Under “Pairs well with”, select Plug-In Cord with Switch for Pendant Lights (5M / 196″).

  3. Choose black or white and your plug type: US, EU, UK or AU. Add the cord to your cart and check out with both items.

What’s included

Your pendant and plug-in cord arrive in one package with three mounting hooks. The cord arrives separate from the light. Fit its socket into the pendant following the included guide, add the bulb, hang the light and plug it in.

Details and ordering

Compatibility

For compatible single-bulb pendants only. Not for chandeliers or multi-light fixtures. For integrated-LED or grounded models, please check with us first.

Cord and switch

47″ / 1.2 m from plug to switch; 145″ / 3.7 m from switch to light (approx.).

The switch is on/off only. A compatible dimmable bulb can still be controlled by its remote while the switch is on.

Ordering

Sold only with a compatible pendant. Cord-only orders may be adjusted or canceled. Buying several pendants? Tell us which ones need a cord.

Hardwired parts and changes

Plug-in orders ship without the hardwired installation parts. Want them too? Add a checkout note or contact us before ordering. If your light has shipped, ask us before adding a cord; extra shipping fees may apply.

Setup and safety

No electrical wiring needed. Follow the guide that comes with your pendant to fit the socket and hang the light. Use the hooks with anchors suited to your ceiling or wall.

For indoor use only. Keep the cord away from foot traffic and damage, and never run it through walls or ceilings.

Certification: The SPT-2 cord wire is certified to UL 62 (File No. E494674). This covers the wire only, not the plug, switch, socket or the assembled light.
